Two Persons Accused of Capturing & Circulating Video Of Women Arrested In Srinagar

Two persons namely Danish Majeed Bhat son Abdul MajeedBhat and Adil Ahmad Rather Son of Abdul Ahad Rather both residents of Noor Bagh Shunglipora Srinagar on Thursday were arrested for their alleged role in capturing and circulating video of a girl and extorted money from time to time from girl on the pretext of circulating nude Videos and pictures on social media and subsequently the accused circulated videos through WhatsApp among people of Shunglipora NoorBagh Srinagar in this Regard the case FIR was registered against both the Accused under FIR No 169/2022 under Sections 354C,384,501,509 of IPC and 67 A of Information technology Act in Police station Safakadal Srinagar Meanwhile the family of the accused namely Danish Majeed Bhat has approached Adv. Manzoor Sadiq Ganie IMF Legal Experts for the bail petition and Adv. Mohammad Abdullah Pandit for Adil Ahmad Rather for Bail petition, and accordingly both the counsels have presented their bail petition before Ld. chief Judicial Magistrate Srinagar for the grant of Bail and in the meantime time the victim has approached the Ld Chief Judicial Magistrate Srinagar with protest Petition against the Bail petitions filed by the counsels of Accused seeking rejection of bail and the Ld CJM Srinagar has called Case Dairy file of FIR 169/2022 and Listed Bail petitions and protest Petition on 10/09/2022 for further proceedings.
